Andrzej Robaszewski is a Director of Fiscal Policy Studies and Sustainable Development. His areas of expertise also include EU’s economic governance, energy markets and ESG.
Prior to joining CASE, Andrzej Robaszewski worked at the European Court of Auditors (ECA). With numerous contributions and publications, he provided impactful guidance to EU policymakers on how to improve the design and implementation of the EU’s budget and key policies. He was responsible among others for assessing economic viability and sustainability of the EU programmes related to financial and energy markets, and EU economic and fiscal governance. He was also a member of the INTOSAI’s working group, responsible for developing Green Fiscal Policy Tools.
Andrzej Robaszewski has an international experience from both public and private sectors. He worked in the Risk and Regulatory Department at EY Luxembourg providing macroeconomic analysis and risk management services, at Citibank Europe on project management and fund industry and at the European Central Bank in DG Market Operations where he analysed financial market liquidity and investigated manipulations on the FX markets. He also worked as an Economist at Gaz-System S.A. in Poland, where he focused on investment projects and creating regulatory frameworks within the working groups of European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG) in Brussels.
Andrzej Robaszewski holds an MSc degree in Economics from the University of Warwick (UK) and a bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Essex (UK) and Paris-Panthéon-Assas University in France. He also obtained additional qualifications, completing the Certificate in Sustainable Finance at the University of Luxembourg as well as the Executive Course in Eurasian Geopolitics for Policy Makers and Managers at the Luiss School of Government in Italy.
