Marek Peda is responsible for managing research projects funded by European, national, multilateral, and private donors.
Mr. Peda has over 10 years of professional experience as a project manager and in conducting research. He gained international exposure while working on projects for international organizations and academic institutions in Spain and the United States. Mr. Peda also has extensive experience within the Polish NGO sector. His areas of expertise include project management, development cooperation projects, local government, electoral systems, Latin American political and social issues, and minorities in Europe.
Mr. Peda has previously held such roles as Marie Curie Fellow and Expert for the European Commission on elections in South American and African countries. He also received a stipend from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a PhD study and research at the University of Basque Country in Bilbao and Vitoria. He is the author of numerous articles on project management and EU structural funds in Poland and the EU.
Mr. Peda holds an MA in Political Science from the University of Warsaw. He has also completed postgraduate studies at Kozminski University and the Graduate School for Social Research in Warsaw. He specialized in modern history of Spain and its system of regional autonomies.
